What did I do next? I researched everything! Bricks-and-mortar agencies (many have closed down to become home based) franchises (expensive and that cost would have to be passed on) the $495 specials (multi-level marketing, or of questionable integrity) and host agencies (insured and bonded agencies supporting outside agents) After months and months of sorting through the options I settled on affiliating with the biggest agencies. Why? These founded agencies have the certifications, bonds and insurance coverage that pre-qualify them as reputable.
