Curious Book Shop is a used and rare book store situated in downtown East Lansing. Originally began in a basement in 1969, the store has since expanded to three floors of over fifty, 000 well-organized books, magazines, and other paper items. We take special pride in providing books to the community everything from recent paperbacks to scarce antiquarian titles and our team members are knowledgeable and committed to nice client service. Shop specialties are science fiction, mystery, kids's books, Michigan history, sports memorabilia, and old magazines of every variety.

read moreCurious is open! We are open for regular business once again, 10-7 Mon - Sat and 12-5 Sundays. We do require masks, in keeping with state and local regulations, so please wear one if you want to come into the shop. You also can't come in if you're sick, have recently been sick, have recently been in close contact with someone who's sick, and so on. Pretty straightforward.
