Curt's Market

Originally operated as a fruit stand, Curt's has become well-known on the city's W side as a purveyor of fine meats, fresh poultry and seafood. Curt's carries a huge variety specialty foods varying from the best Kansas City strips and lamb to fine delicacies including quail and frog legs. A true home-town business, Curt's is run and run by Independence native Donna (Kearney) Pittman, only the market's 2nd owner in its longtime history. Curt's predominatly female team takes pride in serving clients from as far away as New York and California and aims to supply the highest quality meats.
