DCO Early Child Care
Childcare Services in Springfield, MO
Through the services that DCO supplies, lives are being changed. Babies are able to begin early intervention therapy as early as birth. Therapy can be offered in the most natural setting for the personal - home, day care, etc. Parents can send their kids to a day care that is fully inclusive - some have special requirements, others do not. Adults with disabilities can spend time with other adults doing activities such as dancing and drawing, take classes on subjects such as photography or science, or they can even pursue employment and receive the necessary training.

Developmental Center of the Ozarks
read moreDCO started in 1954 as the United Cerebral Palsy Center for Southwest Missouri because a group of parents wanted a place for their children to go to school. Remember, this was before the days of special education. In the mid 1980's, we became Developmental Center of the Ozarks to better reflect the people we were serving and the services provided. We'd love to tell you more about our journey to get to where we are today - and our plans of where we strive to be. Please call or email us with your questions!
