Destin Black

Dr. Black graduated from medical school at LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport and served her residency in obstetrics and gynecology there. Following the residency, she was accepted for a four-year surgical fellowship at the prestigious Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City where she was named the top surgical fellow at graduation. A cum laude scholar, she received the American Society of Clinical Oncology Merit Award, Lucy Wortham James Research Award and Michael E. Burt Memorial Award for Clinical Excellence.
