I have known Diane for over 40 years. She has listened to me as a close friend off and on since we first met in Junior College. More recently, as I am trying to manage life with my long time spouse who has severe health problems, Diane provides emotional support, understanding and a compassionate perspective on a very complicated and difficult time in our lives. She listens. And she helps.

Diane has been such a huge help for me, especially the time we have spent working together in the wake of COVID. I have had different therapists in the past but she is the best! Whether you're just looking for someone to talk to, an outlet to vent, or even if you want to deal with something more serious - Diane has the tools to help you work through it all. Therapy can be scary at first, but Diane's nonjudgmental nature and genuine character should put your mind at ease within the first session! Especially as we all struggle to continue dealing with the pandemic, it's important to make sure mental health is prioritized. Look no further, Diane will take care of you with phenomenal care!

Therapy for Individuals in Sonoma
read moreThis is true with clients who tell me they've never been in individual or couple's therapy and are nervous, and even with people who say "I don't believe in therapy." I will work collaboratively with you and can offer guidance or let you guide the flow of our sessions. I do that in a way that is supportive and easy to hear. I have been in practice for over 20 years, and am very versatile in my therapeutic style. We can do short-term, solution-focused therapy or we can work on healing issues from your past.
Counseling for Divorce
read moreIf you are contemplating divorce, or are already suffering the often arduous process of going through a divorce, I can help you navigate that process. With the help of therapy, people can rediscover core parts of their personality that have long been dormant, post-separation or post-divorce. This can be a welcome surprise and wonderful "side-effect" of separation or divorce. You may want help remembering who you were before marriage, as well as rediscovering the things that make you unique. You may be ready to embark on a new way of being in the world.
