Dick Birmingham Baseball

Holiday Park Open League (A) is a baseball program that is open to all West Des Moines and surrounding community youth. This program develops players over time by integrating a progressive system of base path lengths and pitching distances. This matters that as a player gets older and stronger the distances between the bases and the pitching mound increase in size. Once reigstered, players are either selected at random and placed on teams (ages 5 - 9) or each player attends a try-out and is selected by coaches in a standard draft (ages 10 - 16)
