With support from Comcast Foundation, the Freedom Technology Project will add new technology capacity to The Disability Network's programs to increase technology literacy and independence for 150 youth and people with disabilities. The project will improve Technology Literacy through increased access to technology and assistive technology skills in TDN Technology Training, High School Transition and Youth Leadership programs.

read moreWe provide information about disability-related issues, resources, and services to people with disabilities, families, professionals and the general public. We work to connect people with each other to build personal support networks for shared learning and strengthening individual choice. We host a variety of peer support groups as well as offering individual counseling appointments. The goal of the program is to raise awareness that community-based living is a viable alternative to nursing facility residency and support their transitions to a more independent home.
