AYSO is a volunteer organization committed to delivering a healthy soccer experience for young people from the ages of 4 to 19. AYSO is located upon five guiding principles: Open Registration, Good Sportsmanship, Balanced Teams, Everyone Plays, and Positive Coaching. We stress a positive attitude at all times. Soccer should be FUN! AYSO National guidelines require that each player participate in 50%2 quarters) of each game. Region 24 in Downey, CA has modified this policy so that each coach attempts to have each player participate in at least three quarters of every game he or she attends.
