Designed for teens 14 years old and over. This program teaches all the skills necessary to become a licensed driver in Minnesota. This includes 30 hours of classroom instruction, the course supplies students with a smaller class room environment with out the intimidation of a huge class, and the same Instructor for the whole class, along with six hours of behind the wheel instruction. Our classes are fun and interactive. Driver's Training 101 will show students a basic vehicle inspection; checking the oil, radiator, air pressure, etc.

read moreFor any parent/guardian that is wanting to attend a PAC class (see dates listed in classroom sign up), due to social distancing you will be required to reserve a seat, contact Todd phone 507-269-5312 or e-mail Todd@Driverstraining101.com. If more sign up than the classroom can hold, he will add an additional PAC class. Please keep an eye on my classroom schedule as this could change at any time. Due to social distancing I am not able to offer class to the amount of students that are in need of drivers training in the classroom.

read moreHi, my name is Todd Ingalls and I am a native of Rochester, MN. I have been married to my wife Adele since June of 1990. I started Driver's Training 101 on May 1st 2007. Previous to that I have been driving commercial vehicles since 1984. I received my class B Commercial Driver's License in 1997 and have driven school buses for 4 years here in Rochester. My experience also includes driving motorcoach buses and commercial size dump trucks. I have had continuous safety training since 1997. We are located at 821 3rd Ave.

read moreFYI: If you are signing up for class and you are 14 years of age, you will not be able to take the written permit test until you turn 15 years old. By law you can take the 30 hours of classroom at the age of 14, although you are not permitted by law to take the written permit test until your are 15. Our pricing is based on thirty (30) classroom hours and six (6) behind the wheel hours, taken in (4) four one and one half (1 1/2) hour sessions. The total cost is $350.00 per student. The cost for extra behind the wheel sessions is $40.00 per hour.
