DTW Architects & Planners
Architect in Durham, NC
DTW Architects & Planners has completed work on a new $6. 8-million building for the Durham School of the Arts. The two-story building houses history classes and two computer labs, providing a fresh start for the students and teachers who previously held classes in the aging Carr Building, which dates back to 1911. The new 31, 000-square foot building features classrooms over 850 square feet in size - twice the size of the old Carr Building classrooms - and provides a two-story atrium adjacent to the auditorium.
