Mr. Norman Dulaney was a body shop worker before World War II. After the war, in 1947, he opened Dulaney Auto Parts in Plainview, Texas with the idea of making used auto and truck parts a respectable and profitable business. To further his idea he opened Dulaney Auto Parts in Amarillo, Texas in 1955 followed by Dulaney Truck Parts in 1960. 53 years have come and gone and even from the beginning when recycling had not become such a necessary thing as it is today, Dulaney Auto and Truck Parts has recycled saving the public money, saving the environment.
