We spent the next eight years in London, where I headed up my own research staff, which provided the opportunity for extensive travel throughout Europe and the rest of the world. This was followed by a move back to the Midwest where I have spent 20 years as a Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Iowa College of Medicine, doing research in brain development, teaching, training Ph. D. Students and helping raise two sons.
