Our Vision. The EBRMFA will be seen as a catalyst for safe and affordable housing and economic development activities that will lead to home ownership, and will seek to find creative solutions to funding parish requirements in these areas. The MFA will continue to be a nationally recognized mortgage finance authority. Through our participating lenders, the East Baton Rouge Mortgage Finance Authority supplies mortgages to qualified buyers at competitive interest rates. In addition, the Authority supplies low interest fixed rate 2nd mortgages to aid borrowers pay a portion.
