Ebert Sign

There was a Dream. Roger Ebert was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. As a young boy growing up in a tobacco area, it seemed inevitable that he would one day become an employee of R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, which employed many of Forsyth County's residents and others residing in the surrounding countryside. Rogers dreams and aspirations were not in the tobacco industry, but in sign fabrication and lighting up businesses with the artistry of the era. He was committed to proving that his dream to be an accomplished sign maker would come true.
