About Us
read moreA social enterprise uses business strategies and principles to meet a social or environmental mission. Eco-Cycle fills a community need for Zero Waste services and programs using mission-based business activities, including hauling recyclable and compostable materials from businesses and innovating and operating Zero Waste facilities such as the Boulder County Recycling Center (BCRC) and the Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials (CHaRM). We then use revenues from these activities to fund our Zero Waste operations, education, outreach, and advocacy work in the community.
CHaRM Facility
read morePLEASE NOTE: Eco-Cycle charges a $3 fee for every vehicle coming to the Eco-Cycle/City of Boulder Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials (CHaRM) to recycle materials. The fee is in addition to the recycling fees that apply to specific materials like electronics, bike tires and porcelain. The CHaRM is setup to accept payment at a drive-up window before you unload your vehicle. If you are bringing more than you will be able to remember at the window (that's great!), we recommend making a list of items that require a recycling fee to help the process.
