Everett J. Prescott. Was established in 1955 in Gardiner, Maine. As the 1st waterworks distributor N of Massachusetts, we offered water-main tapping and installation, and underground boring. The 1960's proved to be a decade of development, improvement and expansion for EJP. We introduced the 1st factory-direct trucking business for cast iron pipe in New England and expanded our fleet of trucks and our product line. The 1970's brought tremendous growth, EJP's 1st two branches-in Concord, New Hampshire, and Montpelier, Vermont-were opened. In 1978, EJP began another business, Quality Water Products (QWP) in South Barre, Massachusetts.
