El Siete Mares Restaurant, separated into a back room and one open dining room, enables patrons a little privacy. The open dining room features clientele from all walks of life - from students to Baylor professors, a mix of Latinos and Baylor students - separated by minimal space between tables. The complimentary chips and salsa begins off the dinner. The yellow salsa, a deviation from the traditional red variety found in Tex-Mex restaurants, had a pleasant, tangy flavor that prepares our palates for the range of sauces to come.
