Dr. Engen will take a comprehensive medical history before the procedure is carried out in order to better understand each patient's general health. He will supply detailed preoperative instructions for the patient to follow in order to improve the procedure's results. In addition, before and after photographs are usually taken so that the final results can be better evaluated. This procedure may be carried out at an outpatient surgical facility or at a hospital. Dr. Engen consults with each patient to determine the right place for the surgery to be performed and whether local or general anesthesia will be used.
