Dr. Ernest C. Walton established Enoch Baptist Church in 1961. The Church was originally situated in Ghent section of Norfolk, Virginia on Graydon Avenue and was set up to cover the members of the East Ghent community. In the early 1970's, the Church relocate to 7110 Clayton Drive in the Mamie Homes section of Norfolk to accommodate an urban renewal project spearheaded by Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority. Upon the retirement of Dr. Walton in May 1989, Dr. Michael G. Daniels was elected to serve as the new Pastor on June 28, 1989.

Holloway Sr. After graduating high school and attending college, he began traveling the world using his gifts as a professional musician and experiencing cultures far and wide.
