Epicure Market

N 1945, the Thal Family opened The Epicure Market, the only Prime meat shop on Miami Beach. Butchers by trade, they ran the business with a hands-on approach. The shop gradually added fresh produce, homemade soups and a bakery. After fifty years, the store grew into what is now The Epicure Market, a complete-service market, with gourmet foods imported from all over the world. In 1996, the Thal family retired. The Market was sold to a new and exciting family, The Starkman's. Ike, Guy and Jason Starkman are the owners, and hands-on proprietors of National Deli Corporation, which includes Jerry's.
