Kanwar A. Singh, founder of The Eye Centers of Racine and Kenosha, is a leader in the area of ophthalmology. Dr. Singh started practicing ophthalmology in Racine, Wisconsin in 1971 and performed the state's 1st cataract surgery with lens implantation in 1975. He introduced outpatient cataract surgery with lens implantation in Southeastern Wisconsin in 1983. In 1992, Dr. Singh performed Wisconsin's 1st Automated Lamellar Keratoplasty vision correction surgery.
