Dr. Sherman is a 1980 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1984. After practicing in Western Pennsylvania for two years, Dr. Sherman moved to Oceanside, California and in 1987 founded his private optometric practice. His office has been at the same Tri-City location for nearly twenty years. Dr. Sherman is known for his knowledge and success in fitting contact lenses with specialization in all kinds of disposable lenses, as well as the more challenging astigmatic, oxygen permeable and bifocal contact lenses.

Dr. Sherman has been in practice for over 25 years and is known for his success in fitting contact lenses. He is also affiliated with the La Jolla office of NVision Laser Eye Center, San Diego's leader in laser vision correction. Dr. Sherman's office maintains convenient office hours including Monday evenings and alternate Saturdays. Dr. Sherman is the best. I have been to lots of eye doctors and this office is number 1!.
