Liza Hendley Betz Emigrated from Dublin Ireland to the US Of America on June tenth 1996. She came to Kentucky with the intention of staying 3 weeks and then was to contiue on Her traveling. Liza ended up falling in Love with Kentucky and has been in Kentucky ever since. She just recently got married in December 2006 to Michael Betz. Michael is studying veterinary Medicine at Auburn Alabama. There is a huge population of Irish in Kentucky. Most of the Irish are here due to the horse industry and across the University of Kentucky.
