After actually majoring in Radio, TV, and Film at the University of Utah, Moose started his career at the local ABC television affiliate, KTVX, in Salt Lake City in 1987. For the next decade, he learned every kind of the business of local television, from shooting to audio, lighting to creative execution, graphics to customer relations. He directed countless news-related programs and special projects including Buzz Baseball and 11 years of the Utah Winter Games.
