The birth of Fernandez Produce Express began in 1921 when a man by the name of Alfredo Fernandez was on a simple goal to make a better life for his family. By the mid 20's Alfredo began a tiny business selling farm fresh eggs door to door with his kids. He then started picking up fresh produce from local farms and sold in the original San Antonio Farmers Market.
