read moreBarry started learning about the construction industry at a young age. His first paid job was cleaning old mortar off of used bricks, for which he was paid a penny a brick by his dad. Before going off to college you could usually find him on a jobsite framing a house, roofing, siding, installing flooring or pouring foundations. He graduated from Union College, and holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Management. After college he moved to North Carolina where he worked for an accounting firm performing audits as a CPA.
