1st Lincoln Federal Credit Union was originally chartered in 1956 as an industrial credit union consisting of members of local #156 Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butchers Workman of North America in Lincoln NE. Today, membership is open to all persons who reside, work, worship or attend school in Lancaster county. When you join a credit union, you join a family nearly 50 million strong. As a member, you own a stake in the family's future. That is because a credit union is the only financial institution owned by its members.
