Acupuncture
read moreAcupuncture is health practice where hair thin needles are inserted into the skin at specific points on the body. According to Chinese medical theory, these points will influence the body by helping to restore the body's natural physiological balance. Acupuncture can help to correct a number of ailments such as pain, anxiety, stress, depression, headaches, migraines, digestive problems, insomnia, fatigue, etc., and can easily assimilate into your current medical, or fitness regime.
Chinese Herbal Treatment
read moreChinese herbal treatments are an excellent option to help address your personal health needs. In most cases they can easily integrate into your current acupuncture or western medical plans, or can work great as a stand alone treatment to bring your body back to balance. Like acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine can treat a number of different ailments, form pain to digestive problems, and when administered properly, there are low risks of side effects and no addictive qualities to contend with.
Cupping
read moreCupping is a process where glass cups are "stuck" to the skin of the body by causing a vacuum in the cup. The cups then can remain in place or be moved around the body using an oil medium and a specific sliding technique. This therapy helps to pull out "deep stagnations" that are hindering the natural physiological processes of the body. By removing these blockages, the body can be restored to its natural physiological balance.
TUI NA ("Twee Naw")
read moreTui Na, which literally translates from Chinese as "push, grasp", is a Chinese medicinal massage technique that is rooted in Chinese medical theory. Tui Na uses massage techniques that are similar to current massage practices, however, it differs by incorporating Chinese medical theory to further enhance the treatment and obtain deeper medical benefits. Often this massage is used in conjunction, or in liu of traditional acupuncture needling, and is typically done with the patient fully clothed, or covered with a sheet.

Testimonials

Danielle Winkelman
read moreI have never had acupuncture before and wanted to try it for the severe headaches and tension I get in my head and neck. I met with Isaac and he immediately made sure I was comfortable and offered me something to drink while we proceeded with paperwork. He was very talkative and I could tell he had a compassion for wanting to help the people he is treating. I was a little nervous at first, but Isaac was amazing at distracting you and talking to you while he performed the acupuncture.

There was nothing painful about it! Then I relaxed for about 45 minutes until he took the needles out. He played soft music and turned down the lights during this time. It was very relaxing and claming. My headaches have been significantly better since I went about 3 weeks ago, and I can definitely feel less tension in the back of my neck. It was an amazing experience and I look forward to going back! Thanks ISAAC!

read moreI booked an appointment with Issac. He is incredibly warm and welcoming. Issac genuinely wants to take great care of everyone. As a licensed massage therapist myself, I enjoy working with other like minded body-workers like Issac. I felt comfortable about the entire appointment from start to finish. I really enjoyed the treatment and did feel very zen afterward. It felt great to walk out of my appointment with a more centered outlook.

There is no pressure to book another appointment, and not once did I feel like just a "customer". I noticed notable positive changes after just one treatment, and the interactions were friendly and sincere. I am interested to try a Tui Na massage session and learn more about the herbs which are available. If you've been on the fence about trying the services or find yourself stuck scouring the internet, for the perfect place, consider it done!

read moreI went there for two treatments, on my left shoulder, after a car accident with Mr. Micheal Sugiura. He has the technique and knowledge of what need to be treated after the consultation and diagnosis. I felt a lot better with only one treatment, but I just want to make sure that the pain won't bother me anymore. As far as 6 weeks gone by I'm still doing fine, and with his recommendation that I need to take it easy on my work duty for awhile. So far he is the best I went to with the outcomes on those treatments

read moreIsaac is kind, respectful, and intuitive. He was able to address several concerns in one treatment. His palpating skills are excellent, and he was able to locate sources of my pain. His needling is precise and practically pain free. I left leaving relaxed but energized, and my hip had more mobility and less pain. I would absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone searching for Acupuncture in the Lakewood area.
