Francisco J. Burgos was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He studied Classical guitar with Demetrio Ballesteros at the Royal Conservatory of Music, Madrid, Spain where he graduated with Honors. He was awarded top honors by unanimous vote by a panel of musical personalities that included guitarist Narciso Yepes. He made his New York City Classical Guitar debut Concert at Carnegie Recital Hall. While in Spain, where he lived for 11 years, he enrolled in master classes given by guitarists Jose Tomas, Jose Luis Rodrigo as well as private instruction with ancient music guitarist Jorge Fresno.

I will try to provide the student, while they are covering the basics, with some easy material related to the style they are interested in.
