Fred's Flowers and Gifts was set up in 1942 by Fred and Lucille Kraus. Fred grew the flowers while Lucille managed the shop. Today the shop is managed by their son, Richard. We currently have same day delivery in the greater Hayward, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Castro Valley and Union City area. Last minute orders acepted. We currently have 3 greenhouses and grow our own azaleas and orchids which have a reputation for superb value and quality. We can do it all. From a simple single wrapped rose to the most detailed customized arrangemnet.

Without even saying anything to them they sent me flowers the following week, on my birthday, with an apology for the mix up. What great customer service. And, their flower arrangements are soooo beautiful. I giving them the highest recommendation. I should have written this review long ago! The wedding florist, Erin, was incredible! She didn't question my decision to have foliage-only bouquets; she found a way to make them extraordinary.
