For patients requiring hand therapy, our physical therapists work on regaining mobility and function in the hand. Equally important, your treatment will focus on reducing pain in all affected areas of the hand. Since the hand is very complex, our physical therapists will first begin your treatment with a thorough evaluation of your condition. Because our physical therapists work closely with patients' doctors during the time of treatment, they will be able to determine if the patient would benefit from additional specialized care if necessary.
