Gainesville Harley-Davidson & Buell opened it's doors in February of 1993 as the dream of Ray & Gail Lytle. The 1st store front situated only a few blocks from the current facility, was a tiny 5, 000 square foot building. With the requirements of clients and the continued growth of the business. Ray and Gail moved the dealership to its current location in 1995. In 1998, the acquisition of Buell American Motorcycles by Harley-Davidson brought the Buell name home to Gainesville. Ray Lytle unfortunately passed away in 2001.
