Galilee Missionary Baptist Church

On April 15, 1919, a group of consecrated Christians headed by Brother J. Will Smith associated together in order to form a new church in Lawton, Oklahoma. These two brothers persuaded Rev. E. D. Parker to come to Lawton, Oklahoma and set up the new church. The 1st meeting was held in the Masonic Hall situated at 105 Dearborn. A revival or Church Crusade started, lasting for a period of two days and then the church moved into the Seventh Day Adventist Church situated at 202 Dearborn.
