Gardeners? Guild. GGI) has been in business in the San Francisco Bay Area for over three decades. GGI was established in 1972 and in 1975, Linda Novy started employment with the firm and subsequently, through the purchase of shares became its sole owner. The firm was incorporated in the state of California in 1986. Ms. Novy created the opportunity for the firm to become an ESOP, and sold 40% of her shares to the GGI Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) in December 1998. The balance of the shares were purchased by the ESOP in July 2003.
