Chiropractic care is a science and philosophy that focuses on the relationship between the nervous system and the function of the body. Chiropractic treatment has existed in the US over one hundred years, but manipulation has been discovered in ancient Chinese paintings that are 1000's of years old. Doctors of chiropractic have basically the same curriculum as Medical doctors with four years premedical and 4 years of graduate study. Chiropractic education totals about 8 years of school and a little more than 4800 hours.
