Glacier Way West Side Cooperative Preschool is a high-quality, affordable early education program where kids and parents can learn and grow together. read moreWe hope to return to in-person learning for the end of the school year, the spring session. If you would like to drop in on a virtual session to determine if it would work for your family please contact us. We will continue to update our plans as the situation evolves and will return to our normal schedule when it is safe to return to school. September themes will include: What Are Our Names, Exploring the Alphabet, and Rhyming Words. Activities will include learning each others' names, spelling names, sounding out the syllables, graphing and counting how many students' names start with the same letter, etc.
read moreCooperative preschools are able to keep the cost of tuition lower because of the high level of parent involvement. Assist the teacher in class: Each family is required to assist an average of 6 times a semester in the 3s program, and 9 times a semester in the 4s program. There may be a need for more assist days if enrollment is down. To maintain the integrity of our program, no siblings are allowed in the classroom while parents are assisting. A sibling nursery is available for parents to use on their assist days.
