Like any art form, a photograph can be pretty, inspiring, whimsical, challenging, and, maybe somewhat paradoxically, full of life. Photographs can capture emotions, ideas, treasured relationships, or nostalgic locations, and supply for the viewer the possibility to stop and think, feel, reminisce, or just plain enjoy the pictured moment. One of the greatest things about photographs is the stories they tell. I love to sit down with my kids as they look through our photobooks and share stories with them about what we were doing when a particular picture was taken.
