Ellen was originally from Moorstown Kilfinane. From 1918 to 1962 the company was owned and operated by their son Daniel J Hayes and his wife Ellen Cronin originally of Marybrook, Kanturk Co. Cork. From 1962 to 1998 Daniel and Ellen's son Michael G Hayes and his wife Mary Condon formerly of Rupulagh Glenroe Co. Limerick managed and owned the business. In 1980 Michael & Mary's son Daniel J Hayes (D. J. Purchased a property at W end Kilfinane and formed DJ Hayes & Co. Ltd.
