Great Hall
Banquet Hall in Pittsburgh, PA
The Great Hall provides a splendid setting for your wedding reception, banquet, meeting or special gathering. The Great Hall was designed by William P. Hutchins in the tradition of Gothic architecture for the former St. Teresa of Avila Church. The building was constructed in 1934 of soft gray Indiana limestone with a slate roof. The building entrance features a magnificent seven foot rose window with six huge petals and a center bud. A grand ceiling supported by columns and trusses is finished with purlins of Oregon pine. The ceiling was the only one of its kind in 1934 America.
