The Green Parrot Nursery and Garden Center is an outstanding nursery situated in uptown New Orleans. This garden center was a dream of Mrs. Louise Richards, a life-long resident of New Orleans. A homemaker and artisan at heart, her vision was that of a safe, friendly and convenient place to shop. In the late 1900's she and her son Nicholas would drive the River Bend area of New Orleans sharing the dream and talking about her vision. Her dream became reality in March of 2001.
