Administration of public mental health, developmental disabilities and substance abuse treatment, is organized under the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services? Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services (NCDHHS-MH/DD/SAS) and Guilford County. The LME is responsible for governance and administration of public mental health, developmental disabilities and substance abuse services (MH/DD/SAS) for the single county catchment area.
