The State of Louisiana is again proposing to cut the rates that providers receive to supply in home services. Providers have already been cut significantly, and another 3. 1% rate cut is being proposed for next fiscal year (July 2010-June 2011) This level of cut is not sustainable by many providers who supply quality services. The cut will cause providers to eliminate some programs entirely, which could seriously impact an personal's capability to receive services in their home.
