As a FINRA member, GunnAllen is required to maintain a certain level of capital reserves. The amount of capital required in order to operate varies based upon a mixture of factors including, but not limited to, the business activities and the liabilities and/or claims against GunnAllen. After the close of business on Friday, March 19, 2010, GunnAllen could not continue operations as a broker/dealer due to its current capital level and, accordingly, GunnAllen is now restricted to taking liquidating transactions only.
