Prior to founding Gutter Cap. Steve Tenute, started marketing another manufacturer's gutter protection product in the Chicago area in 1991. The product sold extremely well in the 1st few months. He soon realized, however, that the product had some significant design and quality deficiencies, causing costly service and warranty issues. Steve decided this product wasn't the finest he could offer his clients. And so he ceased installing that product. With his experience of the market and considerable experience dealing with aluminum, he opted to evolve and produce his own design.
