It all started when I reached my gaining potential, and still had four people to support. The children were in high school (and becoming more expensive) so I started taking accelerated college courses in accounting, while working full time. Two and a half years later I had my degree. I had been going to classes for five hours every Friday evening, and eight hours every Saturday. Week nights and Sundays were reserved for studying. During that time I met an AccPac (a high-end accounting package) installer who had customers in need of part-time bookkeeping services.
