Hamilton's Academy of Grief & Loss oversees these community projects. We strive to continually improve the services we offer, in order to: retain our current Client-Families, gain new customers, and increase the positive image we project to the community. By keeping our system and operations simple and lean, we can use our energies to concentrate more fully on the excellent individualized service we provide to those we serve.

read moreCemetery: Cemeteries can be city-owned, community-owned, church owned, private, for profit, or owned by a special group. Grave spaces in different cemeteries cost different amounts. The cost for the grave opening also varies depending on the cemetery. Grave Tent and Equipment: When you choose disposition at a cemetery, it is important to coordinate the committal so that the tent, chairs, lowering device, burial receptacle and any other equipment that may be needed is available. We will help organize this interaction between the respective organizations involved.

read moreLittle Hands is for children ages 3 1/2 to 6 years old (Pre-school - Kindergarten) and gives children a chance to interact with others their own age that have experienced the death of someone very dear to them. Healing Hearts is for first through sixth-graders and gives children a chance to interact with others their own age that have experienced the death of someone very dear to them. To help provide comfort and support to people during one of the most difficult times in their lives Hamilton's newest endeavor in broadening the level of support we provide to our families with the addition of Family Support Dogs.
