In 1982 Young had outgrown the one-man kiosk at K-Mart, so he bought Ceronsky's Locksmith and opened a shop at Blackstone and Bullard avenues in Fresno, giving him two locations. After few years, business growth moved him into a new building at Blackstone and Barstow avenues where Young spent the next twelve years. During this time, Young found himself operating another business - a vocational school.
