Hempstead Golf Club

Beyond the southwestern section of the Village of Hempstead, The Hempstead Golf and Country Club with its comfortable Club House within Village limits, and its broad acres, has become a Mecca of local golfers and the center of social activities. Hempstead Golf and Country Club is a private, member-owned club and is open only to members and their guests. In 1920, some of the surviving Midland members joined with a group of Hempstead businessmen to form the Hempstead Golf Club.
