Herman H Lohmeyer

Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home was founded by Herman H. Lohmeyer, Sr. In 1923. In 1925 Herman purchased what was once the F. X. Heers home. He converted the building into a funeral home with living quarters above for his family. The building is on Springfield's Historic Register and has been refurbished, yet still has the unique beauty of a turn of the century home. Our funeral home is wheelchair accessible. Herman Lohmeyer's has a long reputation of professionalism and a genuine concern for the families they serve.
